PCB to Take a Winter Hiatus in 2026-27
The leadership team has decided to hit the pause button on the band’s Winter 2026-27 session. With two departures from our leadership team, we felt it best to take time to recruit a few new members. There are many roles to be filled (by band members or not!)
Please see our Fall 2026 Newsletter for details.
Players – The Potsdam Community Band welcomes all adult musicians who play traditional concert band instruments (woodwinds, brass, percussion). Talented high school students may participate with the recommendation of their own music teacher and their parent/guardian signature. Membership in the band is open, and seating is assigned by section leader. Current musicians in the band range from adult beginners to those who teach music as part of their career.
If you are new to the Potsdam Community Band and might want to play with us, please email potsdamcommunityband@gmail.com.
Volunteers – PCB also needs graphic designers, logistics crews, librarians, publicists, and more to put on a concert. Visit our Volunteer Opportunities page to find out how you can help.
