New call time: Sunday, Jan 18, 1:15 pm, Hosmer stage. We understand some may have church obligations or other plans, but IF YOU CAN, please arrive by 1:15. Percussionists, please plan to arrive even earlier, and anyone else who can come early to set up, please do, as NOTHING will be set up before Sunday! We will have a “mini dress rehearsal” starting at 1:30, and will then start/stop pieces starting at about 2:00 pm.

In advance of this rather adventure-filled way to produce a quality concert, Theresa is asking everyone to please spend some time with your music between tonight and Sunday. Please listen to the concert selections on the YouTube playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLl1mVbiuG07J022Q-u62Z2szdbYaVc6uy

The recording of Fire can be found here: https://rwsmusic.com/product/fire/

Listen and play through your music!

Also, please “talk up” the concert to your family and friends, and post to your social media. A pdf of the concert poster is attached, and Theresa has been posting lots of photos to the PCB Facebook page. Borrow some of those for your own social media posts or go ahead and share them!

If you would like to introduce a piece during the concert, please email this info to the band account at potsdamcommunityband@gmail.com.

A few other items concerning the concert:

  • Dress is ALL BLACK. Ladies, dresses or slacks/blouse; men, black shirt and dress pants (no jeans!); Everyone, black shoes or shoes/socks.
  • PLEASE…no strong colognes or perfumes! Some in the band are sensitive to scents, so please don’t wear them. If you’re clean, ya don’t need ’em!
  • Attached is the personnel list for the program. Please check your information to make sure it is correct (spelling, town you live in, occupation)

We are terribly sorry to have to ask you to go with the flow yet again, but c’est la vie! Just the same, let’s have some fun and play a great concert. We know we can live up to the challenge!
